Leman Manhattan Preparatory School

Located in Manhattan’s most historic neighborhood, Léman Manhattan provides students with a rigorous academic program in the most dynamic, international education setting in the world. We are home to nearly 800 students ranging from 16 months old to grade 12, and New York City’s only boarding program.

Léman offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, recognized as the gold standard in college preparatory curriculum, and highly respected by top universities worldwide. Léman graduates are engaged global citizens and confident leaders with a sense of purpose.

Léman Manhattan was formerly member of the Athletic Conference of Independent Schools (ACIS) and the New York State Association for Independent Schools (NYSAIS).

Now Léman Manhattan is a member of the Independent Schools Athletic Association (ISAA) and the Independent Schools Athletic League (ISAL). Léman Manhattan’s Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball won the ACIS conference in 2015-2016.

Leman Manhattan as of 2016 has two varsity basketball players that have scored over 1,000 points during their high school career those players being Aleiyah Springer (2012-2016) and Deondre Bourne (2013-2017).

Deondre Bourne has recorded the most points for Léman Manhattan with a record high of 2,100 points. Their new Athletic Director, Keith Sequira has run their athletic department since the middle of 2014-15 after the departure of former Athletic director Ray Lacen.
