Abraham Lincoln University

Abraham Lincoln University is a nationally accredited institution dedicated to providing focused, practical, online courses at all degree levels. In addition to our flagship law school, our programs include associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees, plus diplomas and certificates, in law, criminal justice, business administration, general studies, IT, and more. Our students choose ALU to advance their careers in areas that reflect their interests and passions.

A degree from Abraham Lincoln University can be earned completely online, from anywhere with internet access. ALU prides itself in offering an affordable, well-respected degree.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for students who may be under-served by traditional educational institutions. ALU strives to make higher education a reality for working adults.

Most of our students work full time while earning their degree. Your degree will open doors, but your resume will be the legs with which to walk across the threshold. Our flexible schedules allow students to keep their full-time jobs and unique lifestyles.

Abraham Lincoln University focuses on bridging industry-specific practicality and rigorous study, keeping the goals and busy schedules of our students in mind.

We understand that there is sometimes hesitation when one hears “online school.” But this is a misconception we love to challenge. Our online students receive more one-on-one time with professors and an intimate cohort of students is easily fostered. Our programs are just as rigorous as brick-and-mortar schools and our students are just as serious. But we are proud of the differences between ALU and traditional schools: “distance learning” means more flexibility, more individual attention, and lower costs.

You can study anytime, from anywhere (with internet access). Where courses include live lectures, students can access recordings of live lectures once posted, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, including holidays, so there’s no stress about missing class. Some students attend class while on their daily commute or waiting for the kid to get out of soccer practice, while others stroll down the beach while listening to a lecture. You choose your classroom.

Live lectures are dynamic and hands-on. Students can engage with a professor during a lecture and get an immediate response, or they can email their questions to their professor.
